SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2014

Staff Selection Commission has finally announced notification of Junior Engineer jobs of SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 201.

Important dates to remind:

• Last date for online application: 26/03/2014 (part I) and 28/03/2014 (part II)
• Exam will be on: 25/05/2014

Age limit:

• As per mentioned in notification applicant’s age should be between 18 to 27 years as on 01/01/2014

Application fee:

• General/ OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- and no fee for Women/ SC/ ST/ PH/ EXSM candidates

Pay scale:

• Pay scale of Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/- with GP of Rs. 4200/-

Education qualification:

• Candidate should have done Degree or Diploma with experience in relevant field of engineering from any recognized university. Refer notification for more details

Examination Pattern:
Written exam will be conducted for 500 marks. Qualified candidates are then called for Interviews (Personality test) for 100 marks.

Written test will be of two parts:

Part - A (Objective type)
In this part, questions would be based on General Awareness, General Intelligence and reasoning and General Engineering (Civil, mechanical & Electrical).
Time limit: 2 hrs.
Maximum Marks: 200

Part-B (Conventional type)
In this part, questions will be based on General Engineering (Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical).
Time limit: 2 hrs
Maximum Marks: 300
